de robe is a valet stand, which can be used for many things. during the night it holds your weared clothes. when you are ironing your clothes, it holds your well ironed shirts. and if you are havin guests, it keeps the jackets of your friends, if your wardrobe isn?t able to deal with all the clothes. it is made of untreated maplewood and a bar made of beech tree. and you can assemble it in few minutes without any kind of spezial tools.

the japanese artist tadashi kawamata was asked to do a work for the art unlimited 2007 basel. he created a small tree house at a candelabra situated at the messeplatz of basel. as in 2004 for the wooden terrace beach, the artist collaborated with netwerch for the organisation and realisation of the project.
The presentation at the imm 06 in Cologne is an experimental arrangement to research interior design forms and their resulting atmospheres. Students of the institute of interior design and szenography experimented with a specially developped interior design system and created design forms on various themes.
A well structured and accessable documentation of the results and experiences gained at the trade fair aims at enhancing the exchange between students and visitors to the trade fair. This experimental arrangement should result in a comprehensive documentation including various interior design forms and their appropriate atmospheric descriptions and also illustrate the discussion held at our institute on the theme of spatial design.
This interior design system comprises a construct, the edge lengths of which are freely adjustable and the side surfaces of which can be arbitrarily opened or closed. The atmosphere of the designed rooms can be appropriately altered by various different illuminants. Permanently installed cameras document the experiments conducted. This material is processed in the affiliated evaluation point and can be provided in print to trade fair visitors as a give away.
This project was awarded 1st prize for communications ath the Interantional Furniture Fair.
